Got grandstand ticket after 2 hrs and 15 minutes of trying
"Tickets were still available long after "sold out" albeit none for $500 for obvious reasons, East Harmon Grandstand! My goal was to only buy SRO tickets. Once those sold out, I couldn't pass up the opportunity for any type of ticket available. Every time the tickets I selected were "someone purchased," but I kept at it and seats would reappear. I did this multiple times at different zones, and most times I had to get back in queue. What I did was repeatedly unlocking with code (for GA and Grandstands), and it would update and refresh with what's available and sometimes nothing was there. Several times I had 2000+ ahead of me, but every time it was less than 20 minutes of waiting, and the cycle would start all over again. The process really tested my patience and killed my mouse. In the end, it paid off. If you think this was bad, Saturday's release will be even worse, considering it'll be open to the public for purchase. Good luck. F1 here I come! Yes!"
